I have just read your blog on f15->f16 transition.
i hav been using fedora15 for last one and a half month…and just wanted to know that while moving from f15 to f16 we lose our data or not..i have also installed windows7 on my system..
Your question is a little vague. It depends on *what* you do, whether you lose data or not. Anyway, before you do pre-upgrade, if you care about the machine/data, please take a very good look at http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/PreUpgrade . And do not forget to take your back-ups.
Like I mentioned in my previous comment(and the post), I was using a headless, minimal F15 with no Gnome or any X window system) . And hence I was able to smoothly pre-upgrade. Your mileage may vary.
